# IPEYE CCTV vs Surveillance Pro

The clearest difference is rating: IPEYE CCTV at 4.7 against Surveillance Pro's 4.1. IPEYE CCTV also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Surveillance Pro's advantage is review sentiment (34% vs 20%) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.6). On price, ratings volume, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Surveillance Pro sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. IPEYE CCTV asks for nothing beyond the download.

IPEYE CCTV holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 81 and 215 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 20% of IPEYE CCTV's written reviews are positive against 34% of Surveillance Pro's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

IPEYE CCTV ships an update weekly, Surveillance Pro every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
