# Fun Fireworks vs Simple Fireworks

The clearest difference is rating: Simple Fireworks at 4.5 against Fun Fireworks's 4.0. Simple Fireworks also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (26 vs 2). Fun Fireworks's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 75%). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Fun Fireworks sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Simple Fireworks asks for nothing beyond the download.

Simple Fireworks holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Simple Fireworks has 26 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Fun Fireworks's written reviews are positive against 75% of Simple Fireworks's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Fun Fireworks ships an update every 6 months, Simple Fireworks every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 28, 2026 and October 20, 2026 respectively.
