# Focus Keeper vs PomoPop

The clearest difference is ads: Focus Keeper at none against PomoPop's shown. Focus Keeper also leads on ratings volume (32K vs 2) and review sentiment (69% vs 60%). PomoPop's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Keeper sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and PomoPop sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

PomoPop holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Keeper has 32K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of Focus Keeper's written reviews are positive against 60% of PomoPop's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Focus Keeper ships an update every 4 days, PomoPop weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 7, 2026 respectively.
