# Focus Keeper vs Assignment Tracker

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Assignment Tracker at 100% against Focus Keeper's 69%. Assignment Tracker also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Focus Keeper's advantage is update cadence (every 4 days vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (32K vs 2). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Keeper sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Assignment Tracker sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Assignment Tracker holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Keeper has 32K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 69% of Focus Keeper's written reviews are positive against 100% of Assignment Tracker's.

Focus Keeper ships an update every 4 days, Assignment Tracker every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
