# Focus Keeper vs SimpleTime

The clearest difference is review sentiment: SimpleTime at 100% against Focus Keeper's 69%. SimpleTime also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.8). Focus Keeper's advantage is ratings volume (32K vs 3) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 26.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Focus Keeper sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and SimpleTime sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SimpleTime holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Focus Keeper has 32K ratings behind it against 3, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 69% of Focus Keeper's written reviews are positive against 100% of SimpleTime's.

Focus Keeper ships an update every 4 days, SimpleTime every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and September 30, 2026 respectively.
