# Timr vs Stopwatch ٞ

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Stopwatch ٞ at none against Timr's 2. Stopwatch ٞ also leads on rating (4.5 vs 4.0) and ratings volume (1.5K vs 4). Timr's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 4 months vs every 9 months). On price and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Timr sells 2 one-off in-app purchases. Stopwatch ٞ asks for nothing beyond the download.

Stopwatch ٞ holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.0.
