# Bitmoji vs LoomAi Avatar Creator

The clearest difference is rating: Bitmoji at 4.0 against LoomAi Avatar Creator's 3.2. Bitmoji also leads on ratings volume (108K vs 38). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Bitmoji holds the better App Store score, 4.0 against 3.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Bitmoji has 108K ratings behind it against 38, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Bitmoji's written reviews are positive against 27% of LoomAi Avatar Creator's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 30, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
