# النهدي vs Soum | سـوم

The clearest difference is ads: النهدي at none against Soum | سـوم's shown. النهدي also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). Soum | سـوم's advantage is update cadence (every 5 days vs every 3 weeks) and review sentiment (43% vs 29%). On price, in-app purchases, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

النهدي holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: النهدي has 64K ratings behind it against 1.6K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 29% of النهدي's written reviews are positive against 43% of Soum | سـوم's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

النهدي ships an update every 3 weeks, Soum | سـوم every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 17, 2026 respectively.
