# Universo Now vs E!

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Universo Now at 60% against E!'s 33%. E!'s advantage is rating (4.5 vs 4.3) and ratings volume (9.8K vs 1.3K). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

E! holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: E! has 9.8K ratings behind it against 1.3K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 60% of Universo Now's written reviews are positive against 33% of E!'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Universo Now ships an update monthly, E! every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 11, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
