# Saucey vs Split Pay

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Split Pay at 89% against Saucey's 34%. Split Pay also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases). Saucey's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.2) and ratings volume (33K vs 23). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Saucey holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Saucey has 33K ratings behind it against 23, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 34% of Saucey's written reviews are positive against 89% of Split Pay's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Saucey ships an update every 2 months, Split Pay every 6 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 21, 2026 respectively.
