# Egg Timer vs Pepper

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Egg Timer at none against Pepper's 9. Pepper's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (11K vs 52). On price, rating and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Pepper sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Egg Timer asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.6 for Egg Timer against 4.8 for Pepper.
