# Gießen vs Lightnet Imagine

The clearest difference is update cadence: Lightnet Imagine at every 3 weeks against Gießen's every 4 months. Lightnet Imagine also leads on iOS requirement (11.0 vs 13.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Gießen ships an update every 4 months, Lightnet Imagine every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and September 24, 2026 respectively.
