# Alien Garden vs Dragons Evolution

The clearest difference is rating: Dragons Evolution at 4.7 against Alien Garden's 3.3. Dragons Evolution also leads on ratings volume (3.6K vs 4). Alien Garden's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and review sentiment (100% vs 84%). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Alien Garden sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Dragons Evolution sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Dragons Evolution holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Dragons Evolution has 3.6K ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of Alien Garden's written reviews are positive against 84% of Dragons Evolution's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly monthly. Both last shipped on November 2, 2026.
