# NextThere vs Uluru Audio Guide Tour

The clearest difference is rating: NextThere at 4.6 against Uluru Audio Guide Tour's 2.5. NextThere also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months) and ratings volume (74 vs 2). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. NextThere sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Uluru Audio Guide Tour sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

NextThere holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 2.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: NextThere has 74 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 69% of NextThere's written reviews are positive against 71% of Uluru Audio Guide Tour's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

NextThere ships an update every 2 weeks, Uluru Audio Guide Tour every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
