# Learn German vs Learn German

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Learn German at 80% against Learn German's 33%. Learn German also leads on ratings volume (539 vs 2) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Learn German's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.5). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Learn German sells 8 in-app purchases, starting at $14.99 per month and Learn German sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $6.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Learn German holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Learn German has 539 ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 80% of Learn German's written reviews are positive against 33% of Learn German's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Learn German ships an update every 2 weeks, Learn German every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
