# Widgetmania vs Digital Clock

Widgetmania and Digital Clock both sit at 4.5 stars, but that hides the real split: 82% of Widgetmania's written reviews are positive against 51% of Digital Clock's. Widgetmania also leads on iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17). Digital Clock's advantage is ratings volume (1.3K vs 113). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widgetmania sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Digital Clock sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.5 for Widgetmania against 4.4 for Digital Clock. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Digital Clock has 1.3K ratings behind it against 113, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 82% of Widgetmania's written reviews are positive against 51% of Digital Clock's.
