# Widgetmania vs Clock Widget+

The clearest difference is rating: Widgetmania at 4.5 against Clock Widget+'s 4.2. Widgetmania also leads on ratings volume (113 vs 37) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 17.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Widgetmania sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $1.99 per month and Clock Widget+ sells 4 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Widgetmania holds the better App Store score, 4.5 against 4.2. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 113 and 37 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 82% of Widgetmania's written reviews are positive against 86% of Clock Widget+'s, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Widgetmania ships an update fortnightly, Clock Widget+ monthly. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
