# TV NT vs Rit Play

The clearest difference is rating: Rit Play at 5.0 against TV NT's 3.8. Rit Play also leads on update cadence (fortnightly vs every 4 months) and iOS requirement (15.1 vs 18.6). TV NT's advantage is ratings volume (8 vs 1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Rit Play holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 3.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TV NT has 8 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.
