# HUJIapp vs ResidentLog

The clearest difference is update cadence: ResidentLog at every 3 days against HUJIapp's every 4 months. HUJIapp's advantage is iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

HUJIapp ships an update every 4 months, ResidentLog every 3 days. The most recent releases landed on October 4, 2026 and October 5, 2026 respectively.
