# BLADE vs TOAB BTTF

The clearest difference is monetization model: TOAB BTTF at free against BLADE's free with in-app purchases. TOAB BTTF also leads on rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). BLADE's advantage is ratings volume (17 vs 1). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TOAB BTTF holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: BLADE has 17 ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

BLADE ships an update every 2 months, TOAB BTTF every 4 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 9, 2026 and September 18, 2026 respectively.
