# Robot Fly vs Magic Touch

The clearest difference is rating: Robot Fly at 5.0 against Magic Touch's 4.5. Robot Fly also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (weekly vs every 2 months). Magic Touch's advantage is ratings volume (1.2K vs 2) and review sentiment (62% vs 50%). On price, in-app purchases, monetization model and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Robot Fly sells 4 one-off in-app purchases and Magic Touch sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Robot Fly holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Magic Touch has 1.2K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 50% of Robot Fly's written reviews are positive against 62% of Magic Touch's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Robot Fly ships an update weekly, Magic Touch every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 7, 2026 and October 16, 2026 respectively.
