# iXBT Forums vs InfoCity

The clearest difference is update cadence: InfoCity at every 3 weeks against iXBT Forums's every 4 months. iXBT Forums's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (12.0 vs 18.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iXBT Forums ships an update every 4 months, InfoCity every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on September 19, 2026 and September 21, 2026 respectively.
