# iXBT Forums vs Обозреватель

The clearest difference is rating: iXBT Forums at 5.0 against Обозреватель's 4.0. Обозреватель's advantage is update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 4 months) and review sentiment (88% vs 67%). On price, ratings volume, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

iXBT Forums holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.0. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 1 and 2 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 67% of iXBT Forums's written reviews are positive against 88% of Обозреватель's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

iXBT Forums ships an update every 4 months, Обозреватель every 2 weeks. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
