# Crazy Pitcher vs Super Prison Escape

The clearest difference is rating: Super Prison Escape at 4.7 against Crazy Pitcher's 3.9. Super Prison Escape also leads on update cadence (every 2 months vs every 11 months) and ratings volume (300 vs 20). Crazy Pitcher's advantage is review sentiment (79% vs 45%) and monetization model (ad-supported vs free with in-app purchases). On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Super Prison Escape holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Super Prison Escape has 300 ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 79% of Crazy Pitcher's written reviews are positive against 45% of Super Prison Escape's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Crazy Pitcher ships an update every 11 months, Super Prison Escape every 2 months. The most recent releases landed on October 21, 2026 and October 23, 2026 respectively.
