# Uyuni Magick vs Slidezilla

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Slidezilla at 64% against Uyuni Magick's 33%. Slidezilla also leads on update cadence (every 6 weeks vs every 8 months) and ratings volume (247 vs 7). Uyuni Magick's advantage is rating (4.4 vs 4.1). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Uyuni Magick sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Slidezilla sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Uyuni Magick holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Slidezilla has 247 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of Uyuni Magick's written reviews are positive against 64% of Slidezilla's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Uyuni Magick ships an update every 8 months, Slidezilla every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 13, 2026.
