# Precision Trolling vs BUBBA Fishing

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Precision Trolling at 90% against BUBBA Fishing's 45%. Precision Trolling also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 16.0). BUBBA Fishing's advantage is rating (4.8 vs 4.5) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 6 weeks). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Precision Trolling sells 11 one-off in-app purchases and BUBBA Fishing sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $4.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

BUBBA Fishing holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 935 and 3.1K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 90% of Precision Trolling's written reviews are positive against 45% of BUBBA Fishing's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Precision Trolling ships an update every 6 weeks, BUBBA Fishing every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 27, 2026 respectively.
