# Exam Countdown vs Derasah

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Derasah at none against Exam Countdown's 5. Derasah also leads on ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 10 days vs every 5 weeks). Exam Countdown's advantage is ratings volume (1.7K vs 9). On price, rating, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Exam Countdown sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per 3 months. Derasah asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Exam Countdown against 4.8 for Derasah. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Exam Countdown has 1.7K ratings behind it against 9, so its average is the more settled of the two.
