# netTALK Setup vs TalkTT

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: netTALK Setup at none against TalkTT's 7. netTALK Setup also leads on review sentiment (100% vs 90%) and iOS requirement (11.0 vs 15.6). TalkTT's advantage is ratings volume (573 vs 7). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. TalkTT sells 7 one-off in-app purchases. netTALK Setup asks for nothing beyond the download.

TalkTT holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.6. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TalkTT has 573 ratings behind it against 7, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of netTALK Setup's written reviews are positive against 90% of TalkTT's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 3 months. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 22, 2026 respectively.
