# Luxy vs Tactik

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Tactik at 100% against Luxy's 31%. Tactik also leads on iOS requirement (12.0 vs 15.0). Luxy's advantage is rating (4.7 vs 4.0) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 7 months). On price, ads, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Luxy sells 10 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per 7 days and Tactik sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $3.99 per year. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Luxy holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Luxy has 105K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 31% of Luxy's written reviews are positive against 100% of Tactik's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Luxy ships an update every 2 weeks, Tactik every 7 months. The most recent releases landed on November 6, 2026 and November 3, 2026 respectively.
