# Signal vs Comera

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Comera at none against Signal's 1. Signal's advantage is ratings volume (1.1M vs 5.3K) and review sentiment (68% vs 53%). On price, rating, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Signal sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $1.99 per month. Comera asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.7 for Signal against 4.6 for Comera.
