# Notevision vs Notes Tutor

The clearest difference is ratings volume: Notevision at 3.2K against Notes Tutor's 1. Notes Tutor's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 16.0). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notevision sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Notes Tutor sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notes Tutor holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notevision has 3.2K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Notevision ships an update weekly, Notes Tutor every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 6, 2026 and September 17, 2026 respectively.
