# Notevision vs Absolute Pitch Checker

The clearest difference is rating: Notevision at 4.8 against Absolute Pitch Checker's 4.0. Notevision also leads on ads (none vs shown) and ratings volume (3.3K vs 1). Absolute Pitch Checker's advantage is in-app purchases (none vs 1) and review sentiment (100% vs 88%). On price, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notevision sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Absolute Pitch Checker asks for nothing beyond the download.

Notevision holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.0. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notevision has 3.3K ratings behind it against 1, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 88% of Notevision's written reviews are positive against 100% of Absolute Pitch Checker's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Notevision ships an update weekly, Absolute Pitch Checker every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 24, 2026 respectively.
