# Notevision vs Metronome

The clearest difference is ads: Notevision at none against Metronome's shown. Notevision also leads on ratings volume (3.2K vs 8). Metronome's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.8). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notevision sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Metronome sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Metronome holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.8. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notevision has 3.2K ratings behind it against 8, so its average is the more settled of the two.

Notevision ships an update weekly, Metronome every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 16, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
