# Notevision vs Music Log

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: Music Log at none against Notevision's 1. Notevision's advantage is ratings volume (3.2K vs 20). On price, rating, review sentiment and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notevision sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Music Log asks for nothing beyond the download.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Notevision against 4.8 for Music Log. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notevision has 3.2K ratings behind it against 20, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 88% of Notevision's written reviews are positive against 90% of Music Log's.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly weekly. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 13, 2026 respectively.
