# Notevision vs SunScore

The clearest difference is review sentiment: Notevision at 88% against SunScore's 13%. Notevision also leads on rating (4.8 vs 3.9) and monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notevision sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and SunScore sells 6 in-app purchases, starting at $11.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notevision holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 3.9. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Notevision has 3.2K ratings behind it against 31, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews point the same way: 88% of Notevision's written reviews are positive against 13% of SunScore's.

Notevision ships an update weekly, SunScore every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 19, 2026 and October 15, 2026 respectively.
