# Notevision vs MusicCompass Trainer

The clearest difference is update cadence: Notevision at weekly against MusicCompass Trainer's fortnightly. On price, ads, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Notevision sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MusicCompass Trainer sells 5 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Notevision ships an update weekly, MusicCompass Trainer fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on October 17, 2026 and October 10, 2026 respectively.
