# I am vs Positive Affirmations

The clearest difference is ads: Positive Affirmations at none against I am's shown. Positive Affirmations also leads on iOS requirement (15.0 vs 18.0). I am's advantage is ratings volume (738K vs 134) and update cadence (every 6 days vs fortnightly). On price, rating, review sentiment and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. I am sells 9 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and Positive Affirmations sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $2.49 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for I am against 4.7 for Positive Affirmations. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: I am has 738K ratings behind it against 134, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 69% and 69% positive.

I am ships an update every 6 days, Positive Affirmations fortnightly. The most recent releases landed on November 3, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
