# MyEnvera vs Vortex Express

The clearest difference is ads: Vortex Express at none against MyEnvera's shown. Vortex Express also leads on monetization model (free vs free with in-app purchases) and rating (5.0 vs 4.7). MyEnvera's advantage is ratings volume (10K vs 2) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.1). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

Vortex Express holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: MyEnvera has 10K ratings behind it against 2, so its average is the more settled of the two.

MyEnvera ships an update every 3 months, Vortex Express every 5 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 15, 2026 and October 11, 2026 respectively.
