# Blur Square vs No Crop

The clearest difference is rating: No Crop at 4.7 against Blur Square's 4.2. No Crop also leads on in-app purchases (none vs 1) and ratings volume (11K vs 5). Blur Square's advantage is ads (none vs shown) and update cadence (every 2 months vs every 8 months). On price, review sentiment and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Blur Square sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. No Crop asks for nothing beyond the download.

No Crop holds the better App Store score, 4.7 against 4.2. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: No Crop has 11K ratings behind it against 5, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 39% and 40% positive.

Blur Square ships an update every 2 months, No Crop every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 10, 2026 and October 19, 2026 respectively.
