# Assist4All vs SockSB

Assist4All and SockSB both sit at 4.8 stars, but that hides the real split: 100% of SockSB's written reviews are positive against 50% of Assist4All's. SockSB also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 2 months). Assist4All's advantage is ads (none vs shown). On price, rating, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Assist4All sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $9.99 per month and SockSB sells 12 in-app purchases, starting at $1.49 per 7 days. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

On the App Store both sit at effectively the same score — 4.8 for Assist4All against 4.8 for SockSB. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: SockSB has 38 ratings behind it against 4, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews are what separate them: 50% of Assist4All's written reviews are positive against 100% of SockSB's.

Assist4All ships an update every 2 months, SockSB every 2 weeks. The most recent releases landed on October 3, 2026 and October 1, 2026 respectively.
