# Potty Trainer ++ vs Potty Whiz

The clearest difference is rating: Potty Whiz at 4.6 against Potty Trainer ++'s 3.1. Potty Whiz also leads on monetization model (free with in-app purchases vs subscription) and ratings volume (1.9K vs 24). Potty Trainer ++'s advantage is ads (none vs shown) and iOS requirement (10.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Potty Trainer ++ sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $0.49 per month and Potty Whiz sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $2.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Potty Whiz holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 3.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Potty Whiz has 1.9K ratings behind it against 24, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews split almost evenly too, at 43% and 44% positive.

Both ship on a similar rhythm, roughly every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 24, 2026 and October 25, 2026 respectively.
