# Flir One vs Nightcam Camera

The clearest difference is rating: Flir One at 4.6 against Nightcam Camera's 4.1. On price, review sentiment, ratings volume and update cadence there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flir One sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per year and Nightcam Camera sells 5 in-app purchases, starting at $7.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Flir One holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 7.6K and 2.6K respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 22% of Flir One's written reviews are positive against 23% of Nightcam Camera's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flir One ships an update every 5 weeks, Nightcam Camera every 3 weeks. The most recent releases landed on November 1, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
