# Flir One vs OnsiteIQ Capture

The clearest difference is in-app purchases: OnsiteIQ Capture at none against Flir One's 1. OnsiteIQ Capture also leads on update cadence (every 4 days vs every 5 weeks) and review sentiment (43% vs 21%). Flir One's advantage is ratings volume (7.6K vs 6) and rating (4.6 vs 4.3). On price, ads, device support and iOS requirement there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Flir One sells 1 in-app purchase, starting at $29.99 per year. OnsiteIQ Capture asks for nothing beyond the download.

Flir One holds the better App Store score, 4.6 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Flir One has 7.6K ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 21% of Flir One's written reviews are positive against 43% of OnsiteIQ Capture's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Flir One ships an update every 5 weeks, OnsiteIQ Capture every 4 days. The most recent releases landed on October 20, 2026 and October 12, 2026 respectively.
