# Shredsauce vs Ski Challenge

The clearest difference is update cadence: Ski Challenge at every 10 days against Shredsauce's every 2 months. Ski Challenge also leads on rating (4.3 vs 4.1). Shredsauce's advantage is ratings volume (892 vs 109) and iOS requirement (13.0 vs 15.0). On price, review sentiment, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Shredsauce sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and Ski Challenge sells 49 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Ski Challenge holds the better App Store score, 4.3 against 4.1. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Shredsauce has 892 ratings behind it against 109, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 57% of Shredsauce's written reviews are positive against 52% of Ski Challenge's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

Shredsauce ships an update every 2 months, Ski Challenge every 10 days. Both last shipped on October 24, 2026.
