# E! vs TLC GO

The clearest difference is rating: TLC GO at 4.8 against E!'s 4.5. TLC GO also leads on ratings volume (118K vs 9.9K) and iOS requirement (14.0 vs 16.0). On price, review sentiment, update cadence and ads there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

TLC GO holds the better App Store score, 4.8 against 4.5. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: TLC GO has 118K ratings behind it against 9.9K, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 33% of E!'s written reviews are positive against 26% of TLC GO's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

E! ships an update every 5 weeks, TLC GO every 6 weeks. Both last shipped on October 29, 2026.
