# E! vs BruCast

The clearest difference is ads: BruCast at none against E!'s shown. E!'s advantage is update cadence (every 5 weeks vs every 8 months) and iOS requirement (16.0 vs 18.2). On price, in-app purchases and device support there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. Neither carries in-app purchases, so what you see is what you pay.

E! ships an update every 5 weeks, BruCast every 8 months. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 28, 2026 respectively.
