# ABC Kids vs ABC Galaxy

The clearest difference is rating: ABC Galaxy at 4.4 against ABC Kids's 4.1. ABC Galaxy also leads on ratings volume (409 vs 126) and iOS requirement (8.0 vs 12.0). ABC Kids's advantage is review sentiment (100% vs 83%). On price, update cadence, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. ABC Kids sells 3 in-app purchases, starting at $5.99 per month and ABC Galaxy sells 1 one-off in-app purchase. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

ABC Galaxy holds the better App Store score, 4.4 against 4.1. Both are backed by a comparable volume of ratings — 126 and 409 respectively. Written reviews complicate that: 100% of ABC Kids's written reviews are positive against 83% of ABC Galaxy's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

ABC Kids ships an update every 5 months, ABC Galaxy every 4 months. The most recent releases landed on October 22, 2026 and October 29, 2026 respectively.
