# Chrysalis Tarot vs Team Light

The clearest difference is price: Team Light at Free against Chrysalis Tarot's $3.99. Team Light also leads on update cadence (every 2 weeks vs every 22 months). Chrysalis Tarot's advantage is rating (4.9 vs 4.3) and in-app purchases (none vs 2). On review sentiment, ads and device support there is nothing between them.

Team Light is free to download; Chrysalis Tarot costs $3.99 up front. Team Light sells 2 in-app purchases, starting at $39.99 per year. Chrysalis Tarot asks for nothing beyond the download.

Chrysalis Tarot holds the better App Store score, 4.9 against 4.3. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: Chrysalis Tarot has 70 ratings behind it against 6, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 98% of Chrysalis Tarot's written reviews are positive against 100% of Team Light's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.
