# SG GO vs MRT Map

The clearest difference is update cadence: MRT Map at monthly against SG GO's every 5 months. SG GO's advantage is device support (3 vs 1) and iOS requirement (7.0 vs 17.0). On price, ads and in-app purchases there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. SG GO sells 1 one-off in-app purchase and MRT Map sells 4 one-off in-app purchases. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

SG GO ships an update every 5 months, MRT Map monthly. The most recent releases landed on October 26, 2026 and October 4, 2026 respectively.
