# レシピー vs Focus & Fish

The clearest difference is ads: レシピー at none against Focus & Fish's shown. レシピー also leads on review sentiment (77% vs 62%) and ratings volume (148 vs 10). Focus & Fish's advantage is rating (5.0 vs 4.7). On price, update cadence, in-app purchases and monetization model there is nothing between them.

Both are free to download. レシピー sells 14 in-app purchases, starting at $3.99 per month and Focus & Fish sells 7 in-app purchases, starting at $0.99 per month. Whichever you choose, the download price is not the number that matters.

Focus & Fish holds the better App Store score, 5.0 against 4.7. That said, the two scores are not equally well evidenced: レシピー has 148 ratings behind it against 10, so its average is the more settled of the two. Written reviews complicate that: 77% of レシピー's written reviews are positive against 62% of Focus & Fish's, so the app with the better star average is not the one people write more warmly about.

レシピー ships an update weekly, Focus & Fish every 5 days. The most recent releases landed on October 29, 2026 and October 30, 2026 respectively.
